'Increased engagement positively impacts student outcomes and is reflected in students’ positive relationships with their teachers and peers, improved academic performance and school completion, and higher levels of attendance and participation in school activities' (What Works Best, DoE 2020 Update)
Teachers work hard every day to engage students in challenging and interesting work that is supported by the very best educational research. In addition to the amazing work happening within classrooms, Stage 3 students have been and will continue to have the opportunity to participate this term in activities such as; National Youth Leadership Conference, the University of Newcastle STEM Discovery Competition, LitQuiz, NERAM Youth Art Workshop, the Davinci Decathlon, University of Melbourne Maths and Statistics Research Competition, Gardening Club, Craft Club and countless other creative and sporting opportunities.
Below is a sample of pictures and clips from various activities that Stage 3 students have been engaged in recently. We love this collection of pictures and video clips - there is purpose, learning and enjoyment written all over the faces of our students.
