2024 School Council

Dear Parents,

The March meeting of school council each year is the first of the new council after an election period.  We are very happy to have a full school council for the first time in some years, and it is wonderful to have some fresh faces. I was privileged and honoured to once again be elected as president of council, and I am grateful to once again be joined by Christine Stojanoski as vice president. Our executive team is rounded off with Kylie Kennedy who was elected as treasurer.

School council has for some time been working to have the portables deemed unfit for purpose removed from the school site.  As you may have noticed, this work has commenced and will be completed over the coming weeks. the portables in question had been inspected and deemed not suitable for students to use, and we will be glad to have that land back for other purposes which the Buildings and Grounds sub-committee are currently working on.

Further works will be underway in the coming weeks regarding all of the entry and exit ramps at the school to ensure they meet current Australian standards. These ramps include those in the car park, main entrance, entries and exits from classrooms and some ramps located around the school. All works should be completed by the end of May.

Regards,
