KIVA Fundraiser

Mackellar's CASUAL DRESS, or EASTER INSPIRED COSTUME DAY on the last day the term was a huge success!  

Thank you to our Junior School Council for organising and promoting the event, and a HUGE thanks to all students and families who donated a gold coin and came to school in their chosen attire that day.  

Mackellar's JSC are collaborating over the coming weeks to find people highlighted through KIVA'S organisation as needing financial assistance for their for family or their education.  

Kiva is a global non-profit organisation working to bring financial inclusion to all by crowdfunding microloans, unlocking capital, and addressing the underlying barriers to financial access around the world. Kiva creates the opportunity to play a special part in someone else’s story.  

Kiva is a loan, not a donation.  When a Kiva loan enables someone to grow a business and create opportunity for themselves, it creates opportunities for others as well.  That ripple effect can shape the future for a family or an entire community.
