Tantalising Our Taste Buds:

The Culinary Adventures in 3/4I's Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

Friday, March 1st, marked an exciting culinary journey for 3/4I as we delved into the world of fresh produce and creativity through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program. With the help of our wonderful parents, our enthusiasm and our very own harvest, we embarked on a delightful cooking adventure together as a class. With the pumpkins harvested from our garden, some of us made a moist and fragrant pumpkin cake, which delighted everyone’s senses (possibly the favourite). Another group cooked with the perfectly ripened tomatoes and basil, creating delicate savory pastries that looked too beautiful to eat. The crispy eggplant chips and zucchini fritters were cooked to golden perfection, these were definitely my favourite!

With each bite, the children discovered the joys of experimentation, their taste buds awakening to new flavors and textures crafted with their own hands. Each bite a testament to the joys of experimentation and discovery of the children. Through laughter, teamwork, and a shared love for good food, we savored every moment, cherishing the memories created in the kitchen.
