Holy Week

This Sunday we will celebrate Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, the week that leads us to Easter. Over the next week our students will visit Holy Week prayer stations set up by each of our levels - Juniors - Palm Sunday in their corridor, Yr 3/4 - Holy Thursday in the Portable & Yr 5/6 - Good Friday outside the Library. 

On Thursday morning we will gather as a school in prayer to tell and reflect on the story of Holy Week. To journey with Jesus in prayer and reflection. Parents are more than welcome to join us.

On Monday, the first day back of Term 2, our morning assembly prayer will be a celebration of Easter. Not the eggs and the bunny, but the risen Christ who is our guiding light.

Let us pray...

O Heavenly and Almighty Father, 

who sent his only Son Jesus 

to live and die as one of us, save me. 

For all wisdom, 

all strength, 

and all glory is in you. 

You are my rock and my redeemer, 

my shelter in the storm. 

In you I place my trust, 

so that I may have hope. 

Let me walk in your light all my days, 

seeking only you. 

I give you my life to love and serve you, 

following you in all that I do.

 Amen.
