Principal's Message

Dear Families & Carers,

Welcome back to Term 2! This is a super quick newsletter just to keep you all informed about what is happening here at Our Lady's. Be sure to check out the Important Dates 2024 for everything that is happening this term.

STAFFING UPDATE

We have had a slight change with one element of our staffing that I would like to inform everyone of. At the end of the term, Mrs. Christie Draper finished up her time at Our Lady's Primary School to explore a career in a different field. Christie had been working in the learning support area of our school. Christie has been a dedicated employee at Our Lady's for the past 10 years and will be missed by us all. Over the holiday break we were able to interview and appoint Mrs. Lisa Baker to this position, ensuring a smooth change over for our children. We are very thankful to have Lisa join our team. 

LUNCH ORDERS

After much searching, we are excited to announce that we have managed to secure a lunch order deal with Cribbes Road Takeaway. Our lunch order day will be each Thursday - meals will be delivered at first break for our students (11.20am ready for eating time at 11.30am).

The store have asked that we order in advance so please be respectful of this. 

In closing, I just wish to direct everyone to the Attendance Matters page and share how proud I am of all students who have improved their attendance this term. This has been an ongoing goal here at Our Lady's and I am pleased to report the increased attendance rates our school is experiencing.
