Clean Up Australia Day
On Thursday 29th February all the Prep to Year 10 students participated in Clean Up Australia Day. Students traversed the school grounds collecting any rubbish that they saw. Congratulations to the students for doing an amazing job.

Madison La Belle completed her studies at Altona College in 2022 and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Torrens University. Her main responsibilities in the course include designing, creating, researching and illustrating fashion. With her experimental nature, Madison finds new ways to create unique pieces that showcase her interests and eventually help her develop her signature style.
Madison's designs are currently on display at the Hobsons Bay Airtime exhibition, located at the Altona Meadows skate park on Queen Street. Her artwork proudly represents the women of Hobsons Bay and aims to inspire and amaze viewers. She is passionate about creating artwork that is avant-garde, distinctive, and eye-catching.
Maddy's flags are on display until late April.

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments to assist eligible students to attend activities like:
- school camps or trips
- swimming and school-organised sports programs
- outdoor education programs
- excursions and incursions.
Payment amounts for 2024 are: $150 per year for eligible primary school students and $250 per year for eligible secondary school student. The funds are deposited directly to the school and tied to the students account.
Who can apply? Families with a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. For more details on eligibility please visit here
How to apply? If you received CSEF in 2023 and your circumstances have not changed, your application will roll over. You do not need to reapply. If your circumstances have changed (ie. a New sibling has commenced), please complete a new application. Families wishing to apply for the first time should complete and return the attached CSEF application form.
Applications for 2024 must be processed no later than 28 June 2024. Completed forms should be handed to reception with a copy of your concession card. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call the college on 9250 8050.
2024 Prep CSEF Uniform Package
If your child is a Prep student this year and you are already receiving CSEF, we would like to inform you of the Prep CSEF Uniform Package, to assist with the costs of school shoes and uniforms. Please find attached the sizing chart along with the application form, please return to: sarra.chhabra@education.vic.gov.au
Working With Children Check
The Working with Children Check is a screening process for assessing or re-assessing people who work with or care for children in our school and across Victoria.
If you're a parent or carer who would like to volunteer at the school, please note that you must hold a valid WWC card.

Western United is finally home! The kids of the west now have their football heroes training and playing right in their backyard!
Our A-League Men will play three exciting matches in April and the best way to be at those games is by being a member.
