Primary Swimming

On Thursday the 15th February, a mighty team of 8 students represented Altona College in the Altona District Swimming Carnival. It was a warm day at the VU Footscray Park pool, but this didn’t deter our swimmers as they battled it out amongst some local schools and had a really successful day. Congratulations to four of our swimmers who progressed to the Hobson’s Bay Division Swimming Carnival!

On Wednesday the 6th March, Olivia, Grace, Elliott and Talia represented Altona College at the Hobson’s Bay Division Swimming Carnival. It was a beautiful day at Werribee Outdoor Pool and students were cheered on by their families. Each student embodied our school values and represented the College extremely well. We hope you are proud of your efforts! (Apologies for not getting a photo of everyone)

We are trying to build the swimming culture and implement some extra swim sessions in 2025, so watch this space!
