"A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh…and you shall be my people and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 37:26,28

As part of the MSC family, we celebrated the 200th  anniversary of the birthday of Fr. Jules Chevalier on the 15th of March. This day was celebrated throughout the entire MSC community worldwide.

As part of our day of celebration, we took time to recognise the impact on our lives the MSC has made. We also celebrated in true birthday fashion with music, cake and frivolity in the courtyard at lunchtime.

We also participated in a casual day where the theme was “Jewels for Jules”, with all funds raised going to Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion. This year’s theme is “For all future generations”.

On Monday the 25th of March, we took two students, Oliver Foster and Noni Blanchett, to the annual “Mass of the Oils” at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Ballarat. This Mass also doubled as a celebration of 150 years of the Ballarat Diocese. Both Oliver and Noni participated in the Mass.
