Celebrating Our Young Readers at the F-2 Reading Assembly

I was so proud and delighted to attend the F-2 Reading Assembly on Monday! It was absolutely wonderful to see so many of our students celebrating their dedication to reading, with so many showing they’ve been reading every night of the week.

Reading is not just a skill—it’s a doorway to imagination, learning, and lifelong success. By reading regularly, children build their vocabulary, improve their comprehension, and develop critical thinking skills that support them across all areas of learning.

Thank you to all the families for your ongoing support in fostering a love of reading at home. Let’s keep the momentum going and encourage our students to keep exploring the world through books!

Master Chef and Gardening Day Success!

It was such a joy to see our Year 3 and 4 students enthusiastically participating in our Master Chef and Gardening Day! The excitement was contagious as students worked together to make delicious Christmas cookies, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.

It was equally heartwarming to see them planting and caring for our garden beds, demonstrating care and responsibility for their environment. The way they supported each other throughout the day was a true testament to their wonderful teamwork and positive spirit. Well, done, Year 3 and 4—you should be so proud of your efforts! Thank you for making the day such a success.

Don't Forget Your Hats!

A friendly reminder to all students, please remember to bring your hats to wear during recess, lunch and outdoor activities. As part of our SunSmart policy, hats help protect us from the sun’s harmful rays and keep us safe while we enjoy being outdoors.

If you don’t have your hat, you’ll need to stay in the shade under the rotunda—so don’t miss out on the fun! 🌞
