Principal's Message

Mr Adam Beilken

As 2024 draws to a close, we take this opportunity to reflect on what has been an incredible year at Marangaroo Primary School. From the first day of Term 1 when Mr Bagnall was the Principal, to today, our students, staff, and families have worked together to create a thriving school community filled with learning, growth, and celebration.

This year has been marked by countless achievements, both big and small. We’ve celebrated academic milestones, athletic successes, creative accomplishments, and moments of kindness and leadership that remind us why Marangaroo Primary School is such a special place.

Our students have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to striving for their best. Whether through classroom activities, excursions, sporting events, or school performances, they have embodied the values that make our school community shine.

I also want to acknowledge the remarkable efforts of our dedicated staff, who go above and beyond to create an engaging and supportive environment for every child.

To our Year 6 graduates, we are incredibly proud of your journey. As you leave Marangaroo to begin a new chapter in high school, take with you the lessons you’ve learned and the friendships you’ve built. Remember, you will always be a part of the Marangaroo family.

As we prepare to break for the holidays, I encourage everyone to take time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming you all back in 2025 for another year of learning, growth, and achievement.

Thank you for making 2024 such a memorable year. I wish you a safe and joyous holiday season.

Class Structures and Orientation for 2025

The leadership team are still finalising enrolments and admissions for 2025. I am therefore reluctant to release class lists as they are still subject to change. The Administration team returns to work on Thursday 30 January, 2025. We will be placing the class lists for 2025 on the Staffroom windows by 1.00pm on Friday 31 January.

To facilitate a smooth start to the 2025 academic year, I will be introducing a welcome to classrooms and teachers, on Tuesday 4 February. Classroom doors will be open from 2.00pm – 3.00pm on this day and families are invited to meet their child’s teacher and to drop off booklist supplies.

Staffing Updates

It is the time of year, where we are made aware of changes to staffing for 2025. I would like to take the time to acknowledge the following staff members who will be leaving the school at the conclusion of the year. I would like to thank them for their dedication to the students at Marangaroo Primary School.
