Hello Year 5/6 families, 

Some updates about upcoming events…

Health Education

Students have shown a great amount of maturity during Health Ed. Last week we learned about all of the body changes that students might be experiencing and can expect to experience over coming years. It is likely that your child will have further questions about the information presented and we encourage open and honest conversation at home. We have our final session on Tuesday, 3 December. This session will run for around 1.5hours.

JSC 2025 Elections

Next week, on Wednesday, 4 December, nominees will make a speech to their 2025 cohort and voting will take place. We wish all nominees the very best of luck.

Learning Contracts

Next week we launch learning contracts. This is an exercise in learning to prioritise and manage time. Students will have an array of literacy and numeracy tasks to choose from so that they can target the particular areas that are of priority or interest to them. There will also be a special Inquiry project launched as part of the learning contracts. We look forward to seeing the students push themselves.
