Play at Lunchtime Support (PALS) Training Day

Hello,

We are Hunter and Elora and we are 2 of the 20 new PALs leaders for 2025. PALS (play at lunchtimes) is a learning program for young children at Greenwith Primary School who may want to meet new friends and play some games at lunchtimes.

These children will be able to find PALS at the grass triangle every Monday through Friday. During our training day, we learnt how to play and teach warm-up games, navigated through obstacle courses, cheered each other on in friendly competitions, and shared stories that have deepened our bonds. We had some students from 1306 come over to the hall so we could play games we learned with them and practice being PALS leaders.

As the day began to end, painting the sky with beautiful hues of orange and pink, we gathered around for a small ceremony. Each participant received a certificate, a token of the day's triumphs and the friendships that had flourished. It was a memory we would all cherish, a reminder of the simple joys and the power of shared experiences.
