Everyone I talk to is tired, counting down to the end of the year!! 

 

I know we can’t ignore our responsibilities and deadlines but what about giving your mind a break?

 

Gratitude gives your mind a refreshing break!

 

 

A gratitude exercise I do with some students is this. I get them to think of something positive, something they’ve enjoyed, a person they love for 2 minutes.  

 

I play quiet music and get them to close their eyes and focus on that thing.

 Every time we do this students report feeling refreshed. 

 

Why not give it a try! Gratitude is one of our school values after all!!
