Weeks 5 and 6

WORLD KINDNESS DAY

Wednesday 13th November.

World Kindness Day 2024 is a special day. It’s the day when we’re reminded how important it is to think of others and spread kindness whenever and however we can.

It can be really simple, small gestures. Sometimes the smallest of actions have the biggest impact. That’s what World Kindness Day is all about. We call it positive power.

Imagine what the world would be like if each person did one kind thing for someone else. Get started making a difference with these 10 simple ideas:

  1. Compliment the first three people you talk to.
  2. Write a hand-written note to someone special in your life.
  3. Say good morning to the people when you arrive at school.
  4. Pick up rubbish. A clean school yard, classroom or even bedroom is better to play in!
  5. Place uplifting notes on desks, in lockers or in bags.
  6. Dedicate 24 hours to spreading positivity.
  7. Help out at home without being asked.
  8. Draw a picture for someone.
  9. Do something that you love to do and brings you joy.
  10. Encourage someone that needs it

Take time to talk with your children about their understanding of KINDNESS and what they can do on World Kindness Day.
