NSW PSSA HOCKEY CARNIVAL WINTER TRIALS

Good luck to Campbell Judd, Sofia Michell, Ivy Thomas, Matilda Klasen and Ivy Rodda as they compete with their Polding squads at the NSW PSSA Hockey Carnival in Newcastle from Tuesday 28 May - Friday 31 May 2024 .

ARMIDALE DIOCESAN CROSS COUNTRY

Last Friday we had an excellent day at the Armidale Diocesan Cross Country. 42 students ranging from Year 2 to Year 6 competed against students from across the Diocese. Congratulations to the following children who were successful in placing in the top six for their age group, making them eligible to travel to Sydney to compete at the Polding Cross Country at the Sydney Equestrian Centre in Horsley Park on Wednesday June 5:

Lilly Gibson - 2nd - 8/9 year girls

Sophia Marshall - 6th - 10 year girls

Isabella Harding-Brown - 3rd - 11 year girls

Sophie Ferguson - 5th - 11 year girls

GARY MCSWEENEY CUP AND DIOCESAN RUGBY TRIALS

The Diocesan Rugby Union trials and Gary McSweeney Cup will be held in Tamworth on Friday, 31st May 2024. A Diocesan team to represent the Armidale Diocese at the NSWCPS Rugby Union Championships in Forbes on Sunday, 30th June - Monday, 1 July 2024. This day will serve as the Armidale Diocesan Catholic Schools Gary McSweeney Cup and Armidale Diocesan Rugby Selection Trials. Only MALE players who play on the day will be eligible for selection in the Diocesan Rugby Team. All FEMALE players will be eligible to attend the NSWCPS Rugby 7s trial. This gender information has changed from previous years. Mr Henn will be taking the team on the day.

This term we have Jay Stone coming to help with Athletics skills for children in Years 2-6.
