Last Wednesday, Kingswood Primary School participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime event, where all the students listened to the reading of the book Bowerbird Blues. This is an event that takes place on the same day all over Australia and Kingswood was one of 21,969 locations that joined in. 

Many of the grades went on to do some activities about the book. I have included 2 magnificent posters that were created by the students in 6C. They used so many thinking skills and tapped into emotions and feelings that were expressed in the book. 

The next big event in the library will be our annual Scholastic Book Fair which will be starting on Monday 5th August. This is an event that always needs assistance from our wonderful parent helpers. More information will follow about the Book Fair and how you can volunteer.
