Gymnasium Foyer/Cafe Open - Connected to community

Our furnished gymnasium foyer is now open for use by parents before and after school. Common sense rules apply that any child in that space must be supervised by a parent outside of school hours. If any furniture is moved, please return it to its original position and clean up after yourselves if a mess is made.

Please feel free to use the vending machine. We are pleased to announce  Griffiths Bros coffee as our coffee supplier.

Front Area of the Gym Including Swale – Lead the way

Please be advised that this space including the grassed area in front of the gym along Plaza Crescent is not to be accessed for safety reasons. A few students and younger siblings not supervised by parents are finding their way into this area outside of school hours. We will be building a fence for this area but please refrain from using this area. Students know it is out of bounds.

A pleasure to be at Kingswood Primary School  - Connected to community

An enormous amount of work has gone into setting expectations and routines around the school, resulting in much better student behaviour across all levels of the school. Parent interactions this year have been outstanding and the general vibe around the school is extremely positive. We would like to thank everyone in the Kingswood community for their efforts towards promoting a wonderful learning environment.

Leadership Observations – Lead the way

All leaders have been conducting observations around the school and providing feedback to staff. We are seeing great consistency within cohorts, detailed planning, quality questioning, embedded routines and expectations, children doing the heavy lifting of learning through thinking and most importantly engaged students. There is some great learning going on in all areas of the school. Kingswood is a really great place to be!

Camp Feedback – Connected to Community

Leadership will soon look at the camp feedback provided by parents. We are grateful for your contributions. We will also consult with staff and students to gain a broader perspective. Further updates will be provided in Term 3.
