Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mass

This Friday, 7th June at 9:15 a.m. we will all be celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart Mass with Fr Werner. Families are welcome to join us.

Thank you very much for the many donated food items that have already been placed in the donation baskets in each Learning Community.

The donated food will be collected by the local St Vincent de Paul representative at Friday's Mass who will ensure the food is distributed to people in need in the local community. Please check that the cans and packets of food are not past the use-by date.

Food Drive for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

There is still time to donate food items from the suggestions below:

• pasta
• pasta sauce
• rice
• lentils
• chickpeas
• canned tuna 
• canned vegetables 
• canned fruit
• cans and packets of soup
• noodles
• baked beans
• snack foods eg. muesli bars, dried fruit, chips
• breakfast cereals
• Vegemite, honey, jam
• long life milk
• sugar
• tea, coffee, Milo

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O most holy heart of Jesus, 

fountain of every blessing, 

I adore you, I love you, 

and with lively sorrow for my sins 

I offer you this poor heart of mine. 

Make me humble, patient, pure 

and wholly obedient to your will. 

Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live

 in you and for you. 

Protect me in the midst of danger. 

Comfort me in my afflictions. 

Give me health of body, 

assistance in my temporal needs, 

your blessing on all that I do, 

and the grace of a holy death. 

Amen.
