Annual Report to the School Community

Each year Victorian Government Schools provide an Annual Report to the school community. 

The Annual Report is prepared in 2 parts, the performance summary (data sets), which detail the school’s performance trends over time and the 'About Our School' commentary which outlines our school context and achievements in the writing. 

Our school's 2023 Annual Report has been certified by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) and is now available for viewing on our school's website HERE. 

Other data sets sit behind our Annual Report data which I would also like to share with the school community. Of note, our high performance against socio-economically similar schools in our focus areas of recent years - early years learning and student engagement and wellbeing per:

• NAPLAN Year 3 academic achievement.
• Department of Education's Student Survey related to:
  • Sense of Confidence
  • Management of Bullying
  • Stimulated Learning
• Student Absence Data 
  • a measure of engagement in school (our results are all the more impressive given our families' inclination to travel during school terms, and adjacent to public holidays).

Stadium Playground Update

There has been a lot of excitement in the school this week as we've watched our Stadium Playground take shape! 

The elements of the ninja warrior course have been installed, the sandpit has been constructed and filled, tomorrow the synthetic grass undersurfacing is being laid, and next week we'll have our OSHC vegetable gardens in place!
