National Reconciliation Week (NRW) runs from 27 May to 3 June each year, and is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements as well as to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
A Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony will be held Tuesday 28th May at 2.15pm. All parents/caregivers are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Coming up in Week 8, we have local author Di Hickleton visiting our school as part of our MARC sessions. Di has written several books about her farm and the animals on Butleigh Farm and is offering our students the opportunity to purchase her books at a discounted price.

The Ceres Big Freeze Returns! We are again fundraising for FightMND.
We are taking the plunge this DIY Big Freeze 10 to fundraise $1000 towards vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
We will be again hosting the Ceres Big Freeze so please support us by donating to fund vital research, effective treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.
Staff will be taking the plunge on June 13th with spectators welcome!
Beanies and socks are available to order via QKR only (Home | Qkr! by MasterCard (qkrschool.com)).
Orders close on Monday 3rd June.
Any donations, no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated.

The Australian Dental van visits will begin next week for those who have returned consent forms. If you have not but would like your child seen you may still submit a late form to the office and if they have availability your child will be added to the roster (please be aware this is not guaranteed though).
Please be aware that free RATs are no longer available at the school as the Department is no longer supplying them. The Department recommends that any students who have symptoms of cold, influenza or COVID-19 test for COVID-19 and unwell students are kept at home until they are no longer symptomatic.
A reminder that orders are to be placed by 9pm the Thursday prior for delivery at school on Friday. Orders are to be placed through the Flexischools app. Please see below for information on this platform:

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities such as school camps, excursions, swimming, sports events and incursions.
Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. A special consideration category also exists. Schools can receive applications until 23 June 2024.
