Catholic School Week Awards

During Catholic Schools Week, we present special awards to students who demonstrate Mercy Values.

St Philomena’s was founded in 1898 when the Sisters of Mercy came from Gunnedah to establish a Convent and School. .From 1929 until 1987, the principal of our school was a Sister of Mercy. In a nod to our founders and the contribution the Sisters have made to our school, we acknowledge students who uphold the Mercy Values the Sisters hold dear.
