Reconciliation Week

On Monday, 27th May, Aunty Neva visited Echuca Twin Rivers Primary School as part of Reconciliation Week. Aunty Neva led a traditional Smoking Ceremony, a significant cultural practice of the Aboriginal people. During the ceremony, we all walked through the smoke, which is believed to cleanse us of any negative energy and bring about healing and spiritual well-being. The experience made us feel calm, peaceful, and happy, allowing us to have a deeper connection with the rich cultural heritage within our Community.
