Principal's Report

 Principal - Julie Hommelhoff

Assistant Principal - Matt Saunders

Unfortunately we have experienced a spike in unkind words and not following instructions throughout our school environment in the past fortnight. Staff are very concerned for some students and other staff members, visitors and our wider community when this occurs. We require support from home to reinforce our School-wide Positive Behaviour Support processes at the moment and to continue to build those positive relationships with our students and families.

  • hands, feet and objects to ourselves
  • use kind words
  • follow teacher instructions
  • High Five Strategies to try to solve problems
  • be kind to others
  • try your best

We thank our families for your response to our calls, meetings and strategies when moving forward. Team work, open communication and sharing ideas is a positive approach to solving problems.

Congratulations to our Boys to The Bush Program participants. You received some wonderful feedback from the organisers of the program. I really hope your transition to the next exciting program such as Hands on Learning is just as amazing.

Our Year 4 - 6 students are in the midst of completing the AToSS (Attitudes to School Survey). This data will provide us with information on how our students perceive their experience at school to be. Feedback is so important to improving and reviewing our programs and interactions here at ETRPS.

Foundation 2025 Enrolments

All enrolment documents are available to download from our website. You may also contact the school and we can send the information to you via email or the post.

If you know of any families who are interested in enrolling, please ask them to contact the school.

Applications for 2025 Prep Enrolments are required to the school by July 29th.

Incursion/Excursions Process

Please continue to support the organisation of incursions and excursions at the school by ensuring that you have given permission and payment for your child/ren to attend prior to the due date outlined of the excursion form. This is imperative to ensure the event is organised and coordinated in a manner that ensures the safety and engagement of all students involved. Where permission and payment isn't received within the timelines specified, it may lead to your child/ren not attending.

Please ensure you are connected to the parent portal/app of SENTRAL to ensure you have access to this process.

Please see the office staff for support with this.

New Staff

I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce our new staff member at Echuca Twin Rivers Primary School. Lauren Nesbit has joined us and is fulfilling the role of the Tutor in our BOOST Program. Lauren will be working every Wednesday.

We are excited by this new appointment and know that we have added valuable assets to our school community. Welcome Lauren.

Have a great weekend.
