We celebrate our school's feast day on Monday 13th May. It was a wonderful day where students were able to learn about and reflect upon Our Lady of Fatima. Each class paritcipated in a range of activities including prayer reflections, sport activities, art and craft, musical hymns and a variety of games!
Student reflection of the day:
On Monday 13th of May OLF celebrated the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima, Mary. On this day, Mary appeared to three children, Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia. Mary told them to return to this place on the 13th of every month to pray the rosary.
Our OLF school community celebrated this important feast day by going to Mass and inviting our Mothers, Grandmothers and other important women in our lives to join us. After the mass our guests were invited into the classrooms so we could show them all the hard work we had been doing. They then went to Fatima forum to enjoy a lovely morning tea.
After recess we took part in learning rotations amongst our grade. We did things like; online quizzes to do with Mary, an Art Competition representing images of Mary and reflections on Mary Our Mother. At lunchtime we were so lucky Mrs Clay gave everyone in the school an ice block. At the end of the day, we got gifted special prayer cards of Our Lady of Fatima. We had a great day celebrating all things Our Lady of Fatima feast day as a school community!

Mrs Clay and Ms Bowler attended the Our Lady Help of Christians Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral with some of the Year 6 students. It was a beautiful Mass that allowed the students to celebrate the patron saint of Australia.
