The Year 5 and 6 students have enjoyed a range of engaging and memorable experiences, highlighting their learning, teamwork, and school spirit across a variety of activities.
The Year 6 students proudly took part in the SSV Summer Gala, competing in Tennis, Cricket, Netball, and Volleyball. Throughout the day, they demonstrated outstanding determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship in every match they played. The photos capture not only their focus and effort but also the joy and enthusiasm they brought to each game. Most importantly, the event highlighted the strong friendships formed and strengthened on the sporting field.
The Year 5 and 6 students took part in a week of Harmony Day activities, celebrating cultural diversity and inclusion. Harmony Day recognises respect, belonging, and the importance of embracing different cultures. The week ended with a parade and a shared picnic on the soccer field. Thank you to everyone who helped make the celebrations so special.
Year 5 students have been engaged in rich learning tasks through hands-on Inquiry and Science activities, building curiosity and deepening their understanding. Through experiments and collaborative work, they have developed strong critical thinking and teamwork skills. It has been great to see their enthusiasm for learning.
