What a fantastic start to the year it has been for our Year 3 and Year 4 students! Term 1 has been full of exciting learning opportunities, new experiences, and plenty of moments to celebrate.
One of the highlights this term has been our swimming program. Students showed great enthusiasm and resilience as they developed their water confidence and swimming skills. It was wonderful to see so many students challenging themselves and making progress throughout the program.
Our Year 3 students also completed an important milestone—their very first NAPLAN assessments. We are incredibly proud of the calm and positive way they approached the tests. They demonstrated persistence, focus, and a willingness to give things their best effort. Thank you to families for your support in helping students feel prepared and confident.
Another special event this term was our Harmony Day picnic. This was a joyful celebration of diversity, inclusion, and respect. Students enjoyed sitting outside while eating their lunch. It was fantastic to see so much orange and cultural dress on display and such a strong sense of belonging among our students.
In the classroom, students have been working hard across all learning areas, building strong routines and developing independence. We are very pleased with the way they have settled into the school year and are proud of their efforts so far.
