Hello from the Library

This Term has been very hectic especially since the arrival of our fantastic donation of books from the Dymocks Children's Charities. It has been just like Christmas unpacking all the books and the children are already asking when they will be ready to borrow. It is all very exciting. Our very grateful thanks to Dymocks Children's Charities for the donations, it is very much appreciated by all the students and staff. A big thankyou to Helen Hickey who has made a huge effort to process many of the new resources.

Tasma and the students have been busy throughout the Term adding to our book week theme "Symphony of Stories" and the Country of study "Fiji". We really look forward to each new item added throughout the year. Thanks for all your enthusiasm and work to help make this happen, Tas.

Our Library continues to evolve as needs of the students arise and we now find the back room once again being used for classes. This is great to see as it opens up the children's exposure to the resources in the Library. We are already seeing some of the senior students borrowing books outside of their English text.

With Easter and the end of term looming let me take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and Happy Easter and a relaxing holiday break.
