WHAT I WANT TO BE DAY

Just a reminder that our upcoming dress up day is scheduled for Friday the 5th of December. Students are invited to wear a costume that reflects what they would like to be when they grow up. Students will be allowed to hear from 3 different presenters on this afternoon. We have nearly 20 volunteers from within our school community who have offered to come and share information about their jobs. We are looking forward to a wonderful day!  

YEAR 3 EXCURSION - BENDIGO POTTERY

How incredible are our plates from the Bendigo Pottery! The students did a wonderful job being creative on the day and we hope you will enjoy using them or putting them on display.  

PROBABILITY

Over the next few weeks students will explore chance and learn to identify events as certain, impossible, likely or unlikely. They will look at different chance situations, make predictions, and discuss why results may vary especially if there are several possible outcomes. 

CHARLOTTE'S WEB

We have just completed our class novel Charlotte’s Web and in the coming weeks we will be watching the movie as a unit. This is a wonderful opportunity to watch the original movie from 1973 which is rated as General viewing.

NEW CLASS NOVEL: THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN

Over the coming weeks we will begin reading our new class novel The One and Only Ivan. This novel will support our upcoming persuasive writing unit, where students will use ideas from the text to from opinions and build clear arguments.
