It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of the year, and the students are nearly in Year One. Over the next few weeks there are lots of exciting activities which the students will be involved in, including our Mass, transition morning and ‘what I want to be when I grow up’ day.

WEEKLY AWARDS

Each Monday afternoon, two students from each class will receive an award. This term, awards are given to students displaying the qualities of Catherine McAuley including, demonstrating dedication and a commitment to helping others, displaying a commitment to complete everything they start and showing compassion and understanding. HOME READING & TRICKY WORD PRACTICE

As we head towards the end of year assessments and students transitioning to Year One, it is essential that students continue to read at home each morning or night, as well as practicing their tricky words at the back of their home reading diary.

CHANGE OF DATE FOR FOUNDATION AND BUDDY MASS

We have had to change the date for the Foundation and Grade 5 buddies Mass. The new date for Mass is now Friday 5th of December. This is our final Foundation & Buddy Mass for the year, and an invitation will be sent home in the coming weeks. Families are welcome to come along to join us for Mass in the church at 9:15am.

BOXES FOR THE COLLAGE AREA

The Foundation students have all been very busy in the collage area during Investigation time creating a variety of amazing pieces. Unfortunately, we do not have any boxes left for the Foundation students to use. If you have any boxes at home, could you please bring them in as soon as possible.
