**NO BREAKFAST CLUB next week due to 3/4 & 5/6 camps.

 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

With only five weeks until Christmas, term four is speeding along. Please ensure you check out the calendar on the next page. There are a large number of events planned for the remaining weeks of the term.

Please keep your eyes peeled when walking through our yard as a little visitor has been seen in our yard recently.

Today our Grade 2 students spent a fun day in Bendigo and are very much looking forward to the school sleepover tonight. 

 

 

 

100% Attendance October

Congratulations to the 83 students who enjoyed chips, nuggets and a free sno cone as a reward for being at school every day possible in October.

Upcoming Camps

Next week we have 2 big events with the grade 5/6 students attending their camp in Queenscliff from Monday to Thursday and our Grade 3/4 students spending 3 days at Camp Kookaburra from Wednesday to Friday. Good luck to all involved in these events, we hope you enjoy these opportunities.

 

Whole School Transition Day

The State-wide Transition Day falls on Tuesday 9th December this year. On this day our students from Grades 1 to 6 will step up to their new grade for the day and meet their new teacher and classmates for next year. Our 2026 Preps will also be joining us on this day for a half day. Please mark this day in your calendar.

 

Final Assembly

We are excited to invite families to a special awards assembly on Tuesday 16th December at 2:00pm to celebrate the end of the year. The assembly will be held in our BER building. 

 

2026 Class Structure

In 2026 we will have the following class structure: 

Prep (One class) 

Grade One/two (two classes) 

Grade/Three/Four (three classes) 

Grade Five/Six (three classes) 

We will have over 170 students attending Rochester Primary next year.

 

Stall opportunity - Christmas night

If you are interested or know of somebody who would like to set up a stall on our family Christmas night on Tuesday the 16th please contact the office to arrange. (no cost)

 

Christmas Raffle

Don't forget to collect and sell some tickets for our Christmas Raffle (formally known as Monster Raffle). Thanks to Nichol Trading for their generous donation of all 3 RBN vouchers. We have 10 prizes in total and the raffle will be drawn at our  End of year Assembly on Tuesday 16th December (save the date)!Please contact the office to collect a book of tickets. Tickets are in books of 5 and are $5 each. Any unsold tickets must be returned.
