Connections and Community: Transition Activities and Buddy Program Excitement!
What a wonderful day we've had welcoming our newest members to the school community! Today marked the final transition activity for our incoming Foundation students, and there was excitement with their first official meeting with Grade 5 Buddies!
This school tradition is instrumental in developing meaningful connections across year levels. There is nothing better than seeing smiles and laughter shared between the older and younger students. For our incoming Foundation students, having a Grade 5 Buddy provides a friendly face, a guide, and a sense of security as they prepare to start their schooling journey. For our Grade 5 students, this responsibility fosters empathy, leadership, and a deep sense of community contribution. We are so proud of our students! Thank you to all the students and staff who made this day a success!
Supporting the Colour Run Next Week!
Our incredible Parents' Club has been working tirelessly to organise one of the most exciting events on our calendar: the annual Colour Run!
Mark your calendars for next Friday and prepare for an afternoon of serious fun, colour, and community spirit. This event is a vital fundraiser, with all proceeds directly supporting a new Junior playground.
