Deaf Hub News
It has been a busy and exciting Term 1 in the Deaf Hub. Our students have been involved in everything from athletics days to designing and running their own businesses during Humanities. It has been wonderful to see such confidence and creativity on display.
Our Foundation students have settled beautifully into school routines, and we love watching them learn, play, and grow within the Deaf Hub community. Meanwhile, our Grade 6 Deaf Hub Captains have been hard at work planning for next term. They have some exciting ideas in store, including the return of Deaf Club and upcoming fundraising events, so stay tuned.
Looking ahead to Term 2, I will be inviting Deaf Hub families to join us for school tours of Charles La Trobe College, Marymede Catholic College, and Yarra Valley Grammar. Further details, including dates and times, will be shared via email once confirmed.
Finally, our friends at Yarra Valley Grammar are presenting Mamma Mia! as their senior school musical this year. An Auslan interpreted performance will be held on Saturday 16 May at 2:00pm, supporting greater accessibility for all audience members.
