Northern Metro Region Swimming Championships

Congratulations to the 7 students who represented Golf Links at the Region Swimming Championships. Each student has shown impressive skills in the pool starting from the school trials, then District, then Division and now Region! 

Liam, Charlie and Steve will now have one more chance to impress after they finished 1st in their races and have progressed to the State Championships to be held on April 23rd at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. Good luck!

Charlie (11 Boys): Freestyle 1st place (32.53), Butterfly 2nd place (36.10)

Liam (12 Boys):  Freestyle 1st place (31.95), Butterfly 2nd place (35.51)

Lily (12 Girls): Backstroke 8th place (42.23)

Steve (11 Boys MC): Breaststroke 1st place (1.14.64), Freestyle 3rd place (56.88)

Boys open age medley relay (Xavier, Liam, Jack, Charlie) : 2nd place (2.46.94)

12 Boys 4 x 50m freestyle relay (Rohan, Liam, Xavier, Charlie): 2nd place (2.28.09)

District Athletics

District Athletics will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at Willinda Park in Greensborough. Please find below the final team and the timetable for the day if you wish to cheer the students on!
