Make and Take Craft
Make and Take Craft have been busy making paperclip bookmarks and decorating ceramic tea light holders. As always, we are so impressed with the creativity of our crafters.
If this looks like fun to you, please join us Tuesday lunch times in the library!
National Tim Tam Day Competition Winner
To celebrate National Tim Tam Day, the library held a competition. Students and staff had to guess how many beads were inside a glass jar. There was an extra level of difficulty as the beads were all different shapes and sizes. It was fantastic to see people trying to figure out the best formula in order to make an educated guess, and some people even teamed up with their friends and submitted an entry together.
The total number of beads in the jar was 1816!
There were 217 entries and the two closest guesses were from Fergus (8E) with 1774, and Lillian (8C) with 1742.
Congratulations to the winners – I hope you’re enjoying your packet of Tim Tams! Also, thank you to everyone that participated and made it a fun event.
