Student Services: Wellbeing

Each newsletter the Student Wellbeing team share information about events, resources, and other services. Stay tuned!
It’s hard to believe we’re halfway through Term 1 already. In Woi wurrung language this season is luk, or eel season, where we can expect cooler temperatures, will see the local gums flowering and will notice the days and nights becoming equal in length.
Many students will have settled into their classes and routines by now, but for some getting to, or being at, school can be difficult. The Wellbeing team provides therapeutic, financial and practical help to students and families. To learn more about our team and the support we can provide, please see below.
We love helping to foster connection at school. Our recent Clubs Fair was a great chance for students to explore new interests, build friendships and find their people at NHS. We were thrilled to see so many students signing up and actively recruiting. A special shout-out to the newly founded Lego Club, which has been generously supported by staff Lego donations. Whether it’s growing friendships at Plant Club, leveling up your connections at Gamers Club or speaking up and taking a stand with the Feminist Collective there is an opportunity and a place for everyone here.
And for those who have been waiting to hear more – Dungeons and Dragons club is back and better than ever! They’ll meet on Fridays, at lunch in C5 and are looking for new recruits to join their latest campaign!
