Fitzroy Mega Swim

On Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of February, the annual Fitzroy Mega Swim was held at Fitzroy Swimming Pool, consisting of 24 hours of relay lap-swimming, by 26 teams. The money raised by swimmers' sponsors goes towards the amazing MS Plus support services, aiding people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Mr Drinan was a swimmer from our school community and was able to raise an incredible $1,340 as a part of the grand total for his team, 'The Monkey Grippers' - $9,421! He also inspired a member of our Connect class, Sam Francis, to join in the cause. On Saturday, Sam swam 4 km in an hour and raised $464! 

It was a great atmosphere at the Fitzroy Pool, and we are very proud of our participants.
