Year 9 & 10 Product Design

Our Year 9/10 Product Design students have successfully completed their first metalworking project, developing new skills in saw-piercing and drilling. 

Students designed a piece that explored positive and negative space, transforming their ideas into a personalised pet tag or keyring. Throughout the project, they were introduced to specialist tools, including the jeweller’s saw, and practised traditional hand-fabrication techniques. 

The results have been impressive, with students producing polished, professional designs that showcase both creativity and precision. Well done to everyone for their hard work and craftsmanship!
