The Lunch Bunch

Welcome to ‘The Lunch Bunch’, our Tuesday lunchtime club open to all Year 5/6 students.

There is no pressure and no set novel to read — we simply get together to chat about what we’re currently reading, recommend great titles to friends, bring along a favourite book to share or simply enjoy talking about the stories, characters and topics we love.

Whether a graphic novel (Spy Family – Poppy’s recommendation), adventure story (Alex Rider – a fav of Ryan’s), mystery (Inkheart – Ms Osborne’s best read of 2025), fantasy (Wings of Fire – we can’t stop Krystal talking about this series!), sport biographies, historical fiction (All the Beautiful Things/We Are Wolves - Ally’s favourites) or non-fiction, Lunch Bunch is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading together.
