School Meetings

Last week and this we have had both AGM's for our P&F and our School Advisory Council.

New Chairperson for our P&F is Lisa Baguley, Vice Chairperson - Sarah Butler, Treasurer - Karen Holley, Secretary - Hannah Houlden, Canteen Treaurer - Jo Rose, Canteen Convener - Mel Miller.  It was lovely to see two new mums join us for our P&F meeting.

We would really love to see more new faces.

Our school Advisory Council is Chaired by Mr Tim Cunnningham, Secretary - Kelly Duck, our finances are always presented by Netty Vasta.  Fr James is an ex officio member of our council.

Advisory Council members are Steph Skinner, Jo Rose, Jessica Wisniewski and Tiarna Brauer.

Photos

Please only ever take photos of your own child at school.  Some families have chosen not to have their child's photo taken in their media release forms.  Therefore we cannot be taking blanket photos of children.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.  

Easter Hat Parade

At 9.00am on Wednesday morning 1st April our children will parade their Easter hats in the hall. We do this early to ensure our hats are in one piece!  Please do not spend big money on your child's hat.

This year we will be joined by our friends from Millrace.  Thank you Kasey for organising our special visitors. Parents, you are welcome to come along and watch also.

The hall will be open from 8.30am with entrance as normal through the Douglas Street car park.

Naplan Years 3 and 5

Congratulations to all our students who participated in Naplan this year.  They worked hard to 'show off' their skills.

Thanks go to Mrs Murphy who ran Naplan like clockwork. There is a great deal of behind the scenes preparation for this to work smoothly in our school.  Great job Mrs Murphy!

Pupil Free Days

Thursday 2nd April - Children have their last school day on Wednesday 1 April

Monday 20th April - Children commence Term 2 on Tuesday 21st April
