CULTURAL DAY CELEBRATIONS

Our Cultural Day at Ripponlea Primary School was a vibrant and joyous celebration on Monday.

The day began with students arriving in a variety of cultural costumes from around the world. Students engaged in activities throughout the day including - art/crafts decorating a picture of the Eiffel Tower, colouring in, playing escargot, making their own Bilboquet(Cup and Ball) and playing with it, a game of Petanque and dancing to the “Can Can”.

Crepe -Oohlicious owners Christophe and Lara served crepes of all flavours. It was wonderful being able to watch them make the crepes, which were DELICIOUS!

Jacques and Phillipe performed a mime, music and dance show where students were invited to participate which was hilarious!!!!

We had a “magnifique” day!

Thank you to all the Ripponlea families, staff, and students for such a fun and enjoyable day. Merci!

STUDENT POETRY SPOTLIGHT

It was a bright, sunny, spring day, and the blue skies were clear.

We first made a cup and ball which we played for hours and even had a duel.

Next, we had showtime with a mime and music and the kids absolutely lost it.

Then we had delicious crisp crepes which made us all lose our shape, and last but not least we built the Eiffel Tower which made us scream even louder.
