Team of the Week - 3/4 boys St Joey's Lions

In week 2 the 3/4 boys Lions team got their first win of the season. The team consists of boys playing basketball for the first time. Over the past term, the team have developed their fundamental skills of the game as well as learning to play as a team. It was awesome watching the boys jump around with joy and finally getting to experience that winning feeling.

A massive thank you to Mark Faint who helps coach the team on a Monday afternoon.

Well done boys, a first of many!

Draw for this Thursday 2/11/23

Lachlan Tolmie's BMX Journey

Lachlan started racing BMX at 5 years of age, and since then has been a strong contender in the NSW state series. In 2022 Lachlan had a big setback as he had to stop all sports including racing due to a knee injury. Finally, in the middle of this year, he was given clearance to ride and race again, meaning that he could compete in the last half of the NSW state series. Over the last few months, he has trained incredibly hard and is now back in full swing of things ready for the 2024 state series. We will be cheering you on Lachlan!
