JUNIOR PARISH SPORTS

On Friday 27th October, our Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students headed to St Joseph’s in Crib Point to participate in a fun morning of activities. This is a special event held annually with St Brendan’s, St Joseph’s and St Mary’s. Our students participated in 13 different activities having fun and making friends along the way. A big thank you to all of our parent helpers who assisted and to our teachers for a great day.

On Friday, the junior students hopped on the bus and headed to St Joseph’s Crib Point for a fun-filled day of sports activities. There were so many activities, including sack races, egg and spoon, shooting basketball hoops and the giant parachute. St Mary’s and St Joseph’s students were mixed up in the groups, so it was great for the students to meet new friends for the day. There was music and the sun was shining! There were a lot of tired students on Friday afternoon, but a great day was had by all.

Swimming Program 3 - 6

Last week, our middle school and senior school students participated in their weekly swimming program. Each student participated in a 40 minute lesson where they practised freestyle, backstroke and breast stroke and survival skills. It was great to see our students engaged in their lessons and challenging themselves.

STATE ATHLETICS

Congratulations to Judd on competing at the SSV State Athletics Carnival last Wednesday.

Judd finished 2nd in the Southern Metro Region a few weeks ago. This qualified him for the State carnival. We are very proud of Judd who made the final of the hurdles and finished 5th in Victoria.

Well done Judd!
