Scholastic Book Club Orders

Book club catalogues have been sent home with your child. Please be aware that orders will close on Wednesday 1November 2023. You can place your orders by going to scholastic.com.au

Book Fair

In Week 4 (6/11 – 10/11) the library will be hosting our annual Scholastic Book Fair. The Book Fair provides children and parents with an opportunity to browse through books normally available through Scholastic Book Club and purchase on the spot. 

On Monday 6/11, children will be able to browse the Book Fair and create a wish list. From Tuesday 7/11 – Friday 10/11, the Book Fair will be open to parents/caregivers before and after school, via a booking system, to make purchases. Children will also be able to purchase during the day without a parent/caregiver. Detailed information regarding the Book Fair will be sent out later this week.

PE Week

In Week 5, we are celebrating PE week, which is a whole week dedicated to being happy, healthy and active! Select children will be heading out to compete for the Endeavour Cup (information to follow), we are running a whole school scavenger hunt, a PE/Sport Quiz, as well as some staff vs student games and health hustles throughout the week.

Each year, we reach out to families and businesses and ask for donations towards our prize packs for our winners throughout 

the week. Suggestions include: Sports equipment, fidgets, vouchers, fun stationery pencils/erasers.

Plastic Bread Tag Collection

Please collect your plastic bread tags and deposit them in the jar in the front office.

1079 Life sells the bread tags to a company that transforms them into useful items. (Transmutation in Robe) 

The proceeds are used to make wheelchairs for disabled people in South Africa.  

So far 85 wheelchairs have been given to those in need.

St Paul Lutheran School App

The St Paul Lutheran SA app has all the contact information you need as a parent of St Paul. This app is different to the QKR! and Seesaw apps. This is what you will use to access the St Paul parent portal.  You can contact the school office to obtain your login and password.
