Chinese Language and Cultural Competition

In Term 3, all Year 8 Chinese learners participated in a Chinese Language and Cultural Competition which was a vibrant showcase of talent and dedication. The students' participation and success in this competition, proudly sponsored by the Confucius Institute of QUT, not only highlight their individual talents but also reflect the comprehensive and engaging teaching approach adopted by the language department. Our commitment to offering a diverse and inclusive curriculum that embraces different cultures has been crucial in nurturing these young talents. The victory at the Chinese Language and Cultural Competition is more than just an academic achievement for these students. It represents a bridge of understanding and respect between cultures, and it highlights the importance of learning languages in today's globalised world.
