Help Create a Frog Bog!

Grant Received for ‘A Fabulous Frog Bog!’ Project

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve received $4730 from the Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grant. This is all due to the hard work of parents Alice Forsyth, Katherine Barraclough  and Di Edwards.

With this funding, we’re planning to create a Frog Bog behind Wingrove Campus, transforming it into an outdoor learning area focused on biodiversity. Below is a video that explains the frog bog.  Additionally, the grant will support more planting on the main campus.

We’re assembling a Fabulous Frog Bog team, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

We are putting a call out for:

A working group to help to dig the hole and prepare the area on Friday 15 November, after school pick up.

The following construction materials:

  • Bags of crushed rock, washed sand, coarse gravel or pebbles
  • Garden rocks
  • Any aquatic plants that you may have excess of
  • Round concrete steppers
