Internet Safety Workshops

Here at Heathmont College, we strive to keep our students safe both IRL (internet speak for "in real life") and online. So, we're pleased to be able to work in conjunction with Victoria Police to provide students cyber safety workshops.

This Cyber Safety event was presented by Senior Constable Peter Willams who is a Youth Resource Officer with Victoria Police. S.C. Williams talked to the Year 7 and 9 students on how to keep safe online as well as the legalities around current issues such as cyber bullying, impersonation of others, sharing of images etc. Peter will also work with our FLO students on leadership in the community.

Congratulations to all of our students who were engaged and well behaved throughout the sessions.
