Year 7 Art

Well done to 7D and 7E for their excellent participation and contribution to the class mural projects in term 3. We can now reveal the finished work. 

The students have out done themselves in producing their interpretation of Vincent Van Gogh’s selected paintings. Each student had one section to complete for the overall collaboration. Many moments were spent exploring colours, textures, shapes and forms. Using the grid method to enlarge and reproduce their individual image initially proved challenging, however using their excellent maths skills they were able to do this well. 

I think you will all agree that they have used oil pastels exceptionally well to replicate Vincent Van Gogh’s colour scheme and extraordinary painting techniques.
