School Leaders

As we approach the middle of the term, I would like to let you know that we will be interviewing on Thursday for our 2025 school captains, and I wish all the candidates the very best in their efforts. Our school captains for 2025 will be announced on 13th December at our Leaders Assembly, along with our SRC leaders for 2025. I wish all the students well with their endeavours to achieve a position on our school leadership teams.

Getting ready for 2025

Over the next few weeks, our students will be participating in trial classes for 2025. This process ensures that we have balanced and supportive classes for the upcoming year. Students will find out their 2025 classes and teachers prior to the statewide transition day on 10th December, allowing them to start familiarizing themselves with their new learning environment.

Honouring Remembrance Day

Today, our Year 6 students have shown a wonderful commitment to commemorating Remembrance Day by selling poppies to our school community. Their efforts help us all to pause and honour the significance of the 11th of November, remembering the sacrifices made by so many. Thank you to our Year 6 students for their dedication to this meaningful cause and to everyone who contributed by purchasing a poppy.

Transition to COMPASS Intranet for 2025

In 2025, we will be transitioning from our current SENTRAL Intranet to the COMPASS Intranet, a platform that will enhance communication between families and the school. COMPASS is a comprehensive, user-friendly system that offers several features to support students' learning and school engagement. Through COMPASS, parents and guardians will be able to access important information such as attendance records, reports, learning updates, and upcoming events. Additionally, COMPASS aligns with the system used by our main feeder school, Carrum Downs Secondary College, allowing for a more seamless transition as students progress through their schooling journey.

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing detailed information to help you understand and navigate COMPASS, ensuring a smooth transition for all families in our school community.
