Bullying

Taylah R. 7C

Cinquain

Stand Tall

: The call against bullying.

Stand up!

Stop bullying.

Bullying isn't cool.

Nobody likes you bullying.

Stop it!

Limerick

Invisible Wounds

: The cost of your words and actions.

When you say mean things, you hurt my feelings.

When you get up in my face, I start to have unsteady breathing.

When you make me feel terrible, does it make you feel visible?

The things you say and do should be criminal.

You think you're as powerful as the world, but you’re not so stop your bullying!

Reverse Poem

More Than Differences

: Embracing Humanity.

When someone is different

Exclude them

It's not okay to

Be friends with them

If they are lonely

Know that

Fighting back means getting even

I don't agree

Violence is never the answer

Only cowards can say that

Standing up for yourself means hitting back

It is reality

Slam Poem

In Your Shoes

: A wish for empathy.

Bang, was the sound,

When you pushed me onto the ground.

Your not funny or cool,

I do not deserve to see you at school.

I really want a answer,

Why are bullies such a monster.

Your mean words hurt,

So stop making fun of my clothes, shirt or skirt.

Is it because your trying to impress,

Or is it you want to feel some sort of success?

One day I wish we could swap,

So you could see how much your bullying needs to stop

Slam poetry:

Girls in sport

Milly K. 7E

Sport has the power to change lives,

but for many girls it can be hard to thrive.

no matter how much they strive,

sometimes the obstacles are too steep to climb.

Skill is skill, no matter the name,

but still girls never seem to get the same fame.

Whether it's unequal pay or differences in publicity

the inequality creates real negativity.

Whether they play cricket,

and get an important wicket,

Or play basketball, And shoot a 3 pointer,

It sometimes seems to go unnoticed,

Yet their passion for the game will always stay strong,

And when giving your best, you can never go wrong

With courage and determination,

Their mind set on the game,

With the fire inside them turning into a flame,

Their goals will stay strong,

Keeping their mind open,

Ready for what's coming on

Girls have gained greatness, to go far,

breaking limits, shining as bright as a star,

but knowing even when they reach the limit,

they only sometimes get the fame and glory to go with it.
